Monovo’s mission is to provide comprehensive, preventive, and affordable care to as many people as possible by creating the world’s most predictive and personalized virtual care ecosystem.
Founded in 2015 by Robert Johnstun, DNP, and Jonathan Muñoz, Monovo was inspired by Rob’s personal experience as an ICU nurse. Jonathan’s wife, Ashley, also a nurse, played a critical role in bringing Rob and Jon together. Rob and Jon felt strongly that Rob’s clinical experience and Jon’s upbringing in a home with low health literacy made them uniquely positioned to design a system that could make healthcare more streamlined and effective for providers and underserved patients alike.
